Researchers revealed that participants in the first group had lest cravings in the morning and in the afternoon. They also ate 31% less calories for lunch. In other words, oatmeal is the healthiest breakfast for obese, as they ate 50% less calories for lunch.

The rest of the participants were hungry within 3 hours after their breakfast which means oatmeal keeps you full for longer.

Similar studies have found that oatmeal is the best breakfast as it promotes healthy weight loss, and reduces the calorie intake by 31-50%. It has a more lasting effect.
