Observing the satiety of each participant for 3 hours after their breakfast. They also had their blood sugar and insulin levels checked. They all had the same foods for lunch.
Researchers revealed that participants in the first group had lest cravings in the morning and in the afternoon. They also ate 31% less calories for lunch. In other words, oatmeal is the healthiest breakfast for obese, as they ate 50% less calories for lunch.
The rest of the participants were hungry within 3 hours after their breakfast which means oatmeal keeps you full for longer.
